The creative force behind HIALabs, Mike serves as the Chief Innovation Officer (CIO).
While he has degrees in neuroscience and biotechnology from Columbia University, Mike didn’t begin his career in tech. Instead, he’s served in a number of wide-ranging roles, as a soldier, firefighter, writer, and banker before moving on to entrepreneur and founding HIALabs.
From his diverse careers, Mike brings a rich breadth of experience, independent thinking, and ingenuity to his current role. He’s honed his thinking and problem-solving abilities in a myriad of ways, from fighting wildfires to building an app to measure hand-eye coordination in patients with traumatic brain injuries.
Today, Mike’s varied life experiences provide a strong foundation from which to conceive, test, and build relevant, scalable solutions to persistent problems.
